FA.I.T. Adriatica: Our Story

In 1959, we started our journey as a small wood packaging company based in Gatteo. Within a few years, the founders, influenced by nearby footwear manufacturers, decided to shift production towards wooden heels and wedges.
This marked the beginning of FA.I.T. Adriatica’s story in the Italian footwear industry.
As the business grew, the company quickly expanded its capabilities, integrating the design and production of leather soles for both men’s and women’s footwear. In a short time, FA.I.T. Adriatica established a strong reputation within the industry.
In the mid-1990s, the acquisition of a historic insole manufacturer enabled the company to introduce a new product line: fibreboard insoles. This was followed by the creation of dedicated design and production departments for wooden clogs and moulded soles.
Continuous growth, combined with a strong focus on innovation, has led to the expansion of our production facilities, which now cover over 8,000 square metres.
